An Attended Funeral would consist of; a service typically led by an individual, this can be of a faith or not, it could even be a relative or family friend.

It is a time of reflection to celebrate and give thanks for the life that has been lived and acknowledge the achievements and loves of the individual that has died.

There may be a time of mourning during the service where we wish to sit quietly, or listen to music; a time of reflection.

The service may contain prayers, religious readings and hymns or it may be a more modern service where prayers, religious readings and hymns are replaced with poems, personal readings and music.

The service may take place before the burial or cremation or the service may take place following the burial or cremation. This may be directly after or it may be some time even days later.

Burial and Cremation

You may choose to honour the life of your loved one in your own time and in your own private way.

An Unattended Funeral allows you to lay your loved to rest with the Committal taking place without your attendance.

Our team with respectfully convey your loved one to your chosen place of rest; this can be either a cremation or a burial.

It is our privilege to provide gentle and respectful care for your loved one. You may still choose what your loved one is to wear; this may be a favourite outfit or a respectful gown that we can provide.

You may also choose a piece of music that can play as we enter the crematorium. Should you have have chosen a burial, we can also arrange to have a piece of music played as we take a moment of silence at the grave.

An Unattended Burial. We can guide you through the different options. This will vary depending on you already owning a grave and wishing for us to re-open or if you are wishing to purchase a new Exclusive Right of Burial at a council cemetery.

Churchyards will be slightly different. We will answer all of your questions, allowing you to make an informed choice that is right for you and your loved one.

From traditional caskets and coffins to something that is a littler bit different; it is about giving you the choice to make the right decision. We have a range from solid wooden caskets, wood veneered to the more environmentally friendly Willow, Bamboo and Seagrass.

From classic funeral flowers for the top of the coffin to stylish tributes, we can work with you by creating in house flowers.

We also work with some of the best local florists within Tewkesbury and Worcester. The traditional, the modern, the funeral wreath to venue decoration. We will work with you to create the perfect flowers.

A bespoke booklet created to share photos, reading, hymns and memories with your family and friends. This provides a beautiful keepsake for those that attend the funeral and for those that sadly cannot be with you.

We can also support with catering recommendations and making bookings.
